Edyon Limited was asked by a customer to help them realise an idea (POC) for a mobile application capable of remotely controlling and collecting data from a measurement device (they manufacture) over Bluetooth. The results of which were to be captured, geographically tagged and stored within a cloud hosted database (Amazon EC2). Edyon Limited were able to utilise the customers’ existing tools and technology in order to minimise cost whilst producing a fully functional full stack system consisting of a SQL Server database, fully functional Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Java, Javascript, SQLite database, Android and Amazon’s EC2 hosting. The project was resounding success enabling the customer to progress to the full production of additional service offerings alongside the measurement device they manufacture.
